Teasing us ST owners

That would hit the spot for me. I'm not enamoured of the adventure bike style not since I owned a 1200GS which virtually fell apart due to corrosion, most useable bike I ever owned was a vfr800 then they spoilt it with the vtec and I've not really found a good alternative since, but I reckon this would do it, might still have a look at the Crossrunner 800, but like all Hondas it'll probably be so bl**dy boring

Umm ....

I don't know. I'd like a pipe on either side (to balance the look) and a bigger fuel tank (21Ltr or more) that one looks like a 15Ltr unit.

Would I buy one? I think I might! The MS1200 doesn't float my boat, nor any other model in the line up at present although, having owned an MT01 for the last 3 years, the Diavel comes close to freeing me of my hard earned money but not quite...

Interesting quote from one of the guys commenting on that thread when he said Ducati are ignoring the older riders and their needs.

Can't say I am wild about the design but it has possibilities.

Agreed Stewart, it's just a MS1200 with the beak removed and a full fairing fitted but it shows how little Ducati would have to do to make a Sports Tourer from the existing range. I'd prefer to see something a bit less angular with a lower seat height and less upright riding position myself.
