Well, well, well, even after all these years there is still stuff to learn.

We all know a full moon appears larger when it first appears on the horizon than when it’s at its zenith later in the night but I’ll admit I always thought it was due to a magnification effect thanks to the reflected light passing through more of the earth’s atmosphere. Well, apparently that’s rubbish. It’s a psychological trick our brain plays on us as it processes the image.

I only found that out this morning as I was reading about ‘the wolf moon’ as the first full moon of the New Year is called.

I thought I’d share it with all of you, so you too can be that little more enlightened.

We were admiring it on the way back from walking the dog yesterday afternoon and googled it to find out it was the Wolf Moon.

Coz they went there to actually measure the thing to prove it did remain the same size as it transited through space.

They did go to the moon didn’t they 🤔?

Wait. Perhaps I’m getting confused. Perhaps NASA are the ones that blew up those office blocks in New York 🤔?
Or are they the ones that spray those mind- numbing, people subjugating, chemicals from airplanes 🤔?
It’s so hard to keep up these days.

NASA now: Activists, liars and only capable of shilling for the Climate Marxists in order to maintain funding and perceived relevance.

So, folks, that's why the Moon appears to shrink and grow in size. It's from plain embarrassment, having welcomed this clown show with open arms in 1969 and regretting it ever since.

Come on Paul, you know....NASA...the ones that used to be able to fly to the moon and back 50 years ago....but don't have the technical capability to do it now. No? Not ringing any bells? They took photos - and miraculously the film wasn't corrupted in any way from the heat, or cold, or the radiation they must've been subjected to.

You know all those photos pictures of the earth from space (that have no consistancy to the size of countries or continents) - those are from NASA.

Surely it's registering now? Phoning President Nixon from the moon? Yes?

Out of curiosity, how do we know that we no longer have the technical capability to fly to the Moon and back?

The current incarnation of NASA is your authority in respect of this claim? When Don Pettit explained that the tech was lost and it was too painful a process to put it back together again?
Your apparent trust in authority and experts is a delight!

I guess you are content to believe the people telling us that we are all going to freeze/boil/burn due to climate change and the people who somehow managed to get two astronauts up to the ISS but then had no plan for their safe return prior to them being delivered by SpaceX (the "plan" they had for a SpaceX "contingency" materialised at a very late stage in the process).
Are you sure you are trusting in the right kind of people?

I am suggesting that Don is "keeping his job" and works for an organisation whose staff, since Challenger, are mainly concerned with *keeping their jobs".
