Had a ZOOM meeting today with my psychoanalyst and my sister.
The issue is riding motorbikes. My family hates me doing so because of my accident record (including riding horses, as well). Horse riding i no problem as I know that I would struggle even to get on one. Trouble is, when the days get longer and the weather better, I would like to ride.my motorbike. Why? |Only because I enjoy it.
Me saying that, now, I would only ride in good weather and daylight, at sensible speeds, cuts no ice, for it is all of the other nutters out there.
I find it very hard to ague against this, as in a typical day, like today, when I went to the supermarket in my car, this morning, the standard of driving was appalling. OK, it is no quite typical and there is a noticeable decline in standards at Christmas, because many insane people seem to have a target of putting at least one person in hospital over Christmas.
The insanity level was high. I have a disabled badge so can use the disabled spaces right near the entrance. As I parked, or tried to, a non-disabled badge holder wanted to fight for the parking space! I buy beer at the supermarket, but others buy shedloads of anger pills!
