I was at Donington on Sunday as my mate was racing with derby pheonix on the 400,in the paddock across from us was a group of guys running Ducati's in the thunderbike races including the first 1098 I've seen outside a shop.
I only had a chance to watch one of the actual races and was faintly dissappointed at the 1098 being comprehensively whupped, by aprilia's mostly, but also a 999 and 998.I know this has probably more to do with the rider than the machine but somehow I expected it to be further up the field.
Anyone else seen it in action? What did you think?
