Have spent this afternoon in between the hailstones doing a bit of switching and changing and generally unblinging the bip.
(I know i'm doing it the wrong way round but I like the original standard look, I may well swap some stuff about later and re-use some of the carbon, undecided yet.
The bip seat unit has gone back on with the pillion pegs, (dropped one of those plastic hinge retaining pins and it took about 1/2 an hour to find the bloody thing, i swear I looked in the place I found it several times before it was there).
Was looking at the chain guard and note it's a complete unit with the hugger, looking at the Haynes book it seems there wasn't a hugger fitted as OE?
If so then i'll keep this as it's practical and helps keep the crud off things.
