VERY cheap 998 for sale

It's gotta be well dodgy at that price.

Fairing decals are wrong. It looks to have an alloy monoposto subframe, lots of carbon........

Price doesn't make sense.

Weird isn't it, I checked it three times thinking I'd maybe misread 3995.
Could be a bitsa with race history maybe?

If it looked good on a direct inspection I'd certainly be double checking engine and chassis numbers and doing hpi checks. But stranger things have happened I guess.

It does happen occasionally I suppose.

Years ago my step-daughter was looking for a car. We found 5 year old Fiesta with alloys, lower suspension, the works. Guy wanted £900, it was worth double that. We HPI'd it, thoroughly inspected it, it was a good straight clean car with no bad history. She bought it and was very happy with until she traded it 2 years later. T'was a genuine bargain.

I guess it's not impossible this might be too.

heres a mega cheap bayliss too,i'm on gumtree quite a lot, people are posting "bargains" all the time, but not supplying phone numbers to be able to ring them. basically copied and pasted ads redone to con people. i've nearly fell for this myself on ebay a few year ago with a mk1 escort with a cozzie engine fitted, email contact only, the person worked for r.a.f. could i send the money via western digital? i asked my mate with a breakers yard if he'd come across anything like it,and he said it was a scam! and me being uncouthly greedy! as it was £800 and in the ad it was probably 10k plus worth of car. you live and learn

Always remember the following 2 quotes. If it seems too good to be true it probably is and Caveat Emptor (for those who do not speak Latin - Buyer Beware). You have even warned, check it out fully before parting with any of your hard earned cash.
