That must be me :( It has only been 2C today and blowing through sleet and snow with more snow forecast for the weekend. :rain: I went on the Midgiemash last year and it rained despite Borderduc's optimism, same on the Hizzie Run. :(
I taxed the bike on the 1st of March and I've only got out on it for 20 minutes so far :mad:
 
i guess ive just been lucky derek, ive been out 3 times totalling 450 miles this month, all in splitting sunshine :)

Got up this morning and we had heavy snow.

Everything white - roads included.

I'm at work now, and it's almost like a spring day!

Forecast looking OK for the weekend now guys :thumbs:
 
buying a new pair of boots this week so i'll just buy them bigger and wear 3 pairs, pinch my dad's leathers and layer up to the max.
 
failing that i'll just have to wear the one layer of windstopper gear and hope for the best... what are the plans anyway for the west coasters?
 
Decided to drive over Hartside on me way back from airport today, expected a lot of snow but was pleasantly surprised to find the road clear with a few snowdrifts at the sides in the sheltered spots.

We came in over the Pennines instead of the coast, looking down from the air I thought it would be off at the weekend as it was totally white but even with a small snow shower on the way over it wasn't that bad, road was clear other than one small snow blown bit, the car park at hartside was clear as well which really surprised me.
 
well was trying to snow here this morning and i just lost the feeling in my hands in the 5mins it took from byres road to uni but now that i know i have sunday off i feel rude not at least attempting to come. will see how it fares by saturday and see then.
 
I was snowed off on Tuesday, other than that it has been fine, roads clear, came over Shap this morning to Penrith, it was snowing but nothing sticking, been a glorious day !
