I am restoring a 1973 CBF 400/4 and need to get the wheels rebuilt with new rims. Any recommendations, preferrably as close to Glasgow as possible.

They get good write ups and I have seen them in action at classic shows and they know what they are doing.
I can get another couple of names if you want for you but don't know of anyone close by you but probably an old fashioned bike shop would have the skills to do it. They say it is not difficult but it won't be if you know what you are doing.

I've been in touch with them, they're very helpful and prices are very reasonable. I'm gonna drop the wheels off next time I'm driving down to my Mums in Sussex......................... Now all I need is someone to enamel the frame:)
 
if you find someone who does enamiling let me know. nowadays everybody does powder coating which in my opinion isnt as good.

I found CWC to be reasonably priced and they have a very good selection of different rims.

Had a wee look for your frame work and found CCB, Carshalton, Surrey (trying to make life easy for you ;):)) who do stove enamelling. 0208 647 3123
