Where are they now?

Having seen a thread about bikes owned and seen again, I thought it might be an idea to see if folk wanted to post details of their bikes to see if any members have seen them around before, or even owned them previously. Not sure if its such a good idea tho as I might find out one of mine has been up the back end of a Micra and welded back together. Anyway lets see how we get on.

First up my 1992 750 Supersport. Bought off a chap in Middlesborough last year in stock form, with a few bits added since. Reg K331 GUB. Has an Eddys of Leeds number plate still on.

Ok, I've talked to (and bored) many people on this forum about my bikes, but I guess one of the rarest and special Ducatis (that not many members will have seen before) the Ducati 750 F1 Santamonica. I had it for a short while - in comparative terms, and sold it to a guy in Sweden - Lars Swensen no less!!
It was an amazing bike. I spent alot of time making sensible (non permanent) mods to bring it up to modern handling standards. It's power was more than enough (they say 95 hp or about 75 at the wheel) and with only 165kg to haul along boy, it went. Open 40mm De'lortos, Verlicchi reverse-cone megaphone (at least 110dB), 'G'- cams and mag wheels, these were all standard and it was the 'SPS' or 'R' of its day being one of 200 built!
I bought it for £8000 and sold it for £8500 - and this was in 1999. Wish I'd kept it now!
Attached are pics of it in it's original perl-white/red/perl-white colour scheme and the better(in my opinion) red/white/green scheme it spent most of it's time in when I rode it.

C'mon, you can wake up now!!! ;)

I picked up Classic Bike this month and its got an article on restoring a basket case Mach 111 Kawasaki, it looked remarkably like the one I used to own in 1976 :( Luckily I can't remember many of the registration numbers of the bikes I've owned and its only since I got a digital cameras that I've got photos :)
