Worcester

A bit of a walk from where I expect to be staying, but walking is good for me!

Are you aware of Fischer future heat 🤔
That is for getting rid of gas, as I did.

On that subject: I regularly get letters from Wales & West Utilities, asking me where I got my gas meter from and who is providing me with the gas. This is after they came on invitation and removed the meter, as they are the only people who can. I have written back a few times, and last time I sent them a photograph of my empty gas meter cupboard. I said that if they still keep pestering me, then I would start a legal action against them for harassment. I hope that shuts them up!

Well done, as it is very close to the mark!

I have a "no-win no-fee" sol that my brother appointed when I was out for the count! She rings me up a few weeks back to glory in the fact that Hastings have finally admitted liability, just before we would have to begin legal action on the three-year deadline. Then I find out through my brother that she has begun legal action anyway, And now she wants me to go and see various "specialists" for what purpose, I have no idea.

So, the grand celebration about Hastings admitting liability has achieved . . . . . precisely nothing!

Even though it will seriously piss off my brother and sister, who are not talking to me anyway, I am contemplating just throwing in the towel, because I want to focus on the future, not on something that happened three years ago.

Whatever happens, I got my driving licence back through my own efforts and expense and bought a motorbike and car, myself, all at my expense. My focus is on getting fitter, cycling further, and getting back to motorcycling, and NOT focusing my life on something that happened over three years ago. We can bicker in court forever, but that is not going to reverse time and make my injuries go away!

The big fight that I had with DVLA was on eyesight. I did loads of tests at Specsavers and I eventually passed. Then I had to do a driving assessment in Bristol, that was farcical. I got through all of that shit through my own efforts and expense, with no help from anyone else. But now I am backstage to "Everyone Else" show!

And to further piss me off, I sent a pissy complaint to Hargreaves Lansdown about hoe they hold of the few thousand in cash that they have, by will not let me get at it. Today, I try to log on to see if they have responded, but find that my account is locked and inaccessible. I may have pissed them off because I told them that I looked around for an alternative company for my ISA and found one, ready and able, within 5 minutes!

It seems that sticking up for yourself makes you very unpopular!

Got the twatty Hargreaves Lansdown account sorted out. They still have not replied to my messages about investing in an ISA, but I just used the money to buy National Grid shares. I am in no great rush to put in my this year's ISA money, so I'll leave it

Since I bought National Grid, they have been on a downward trend. This is after watching the share go up for months!

I can give free financial advice on shares not to buy. Basically, that is anything that I buy. I will let people know if I buy anything else to give all a good steer to keep away from whatever share that it is!

I was going to go to Worcester and spend a few days there in two and half weeks time. You will all be fascinated to know that I am gonna can it. My priority should be to get out on my KTM and keep up the fitness exercise, so that is what I will do. I might still go there and back in a day, just for grins, but I really need to sort my bikes out and get fitter.

Consider yourselves informed

Me and horses have history! About 14 years ago, I was doing jumping on a pony named Rodney. I was warned that he was a bit feisty, but I dismissed that, in my typical way, and said, "No problem, I'll be fine!" Of course, I wasn't and the fecker threw me off, and I smacked my head on something. Maybe the fence, or the horse, or just the ground. I have no memory of it. I was supposed to get a helicopter ride to the hospital, but the helicopter wouldn't land coz of all the horses, so I never got my helicopter ride! Not that I would have remembered :(

Gloucester Royal sent me to the Head Injury Unit at Frenchay, in Bristol, and I was there for about three months. That is where Richard Hammond was supposed to go after his crash, but they didn't want him staying there as they were worried about press and bastid photographers.

That is when I learnt that on a Sunday, the three most common causes for casualty admissions were motorcycling, horse riding, and cycling accidents. I would do all three on a Sunday, and I never realised what a dangerous life I led!
