What can you recommend watching?

The Survivalist: (n)(n)(n)

A post COVID apocalyptic film, takes place on a farm, and no one on that film appears to know shite about how to operate a firearm. The story could have ended when John Malkovich’s character arrived at the farm about 10 minutes into the movie. Disappointing.

Move to Heaven. Korean series about a kid with aspergers who works clearing the homes of the deceased.

Sounds weird, but it was actually interesting, kinda had a Squid Games feel to it but different. Saw this one a while ago.

Now watching Silent Sea, another Korean series Sci-fi. It's OK, good enough to finish the story.

The Last Movie Star on Prime.

The critics weren't too impressed but Burt Reynolds was watchable for a bit of gentle ageism, I think the older you are the more you will like it.

While not a fan of horror movies or the like, we enjoy weird shit.

Watching "Archive 81" on Netflix. Definitely weird shit and mysterious enough to keep us watching to find out how the story unfolds. We're on the 3rd episode of 8.

The story on the surface is not the story and kind of stupid IMO. It's all the little things and background elements that are intriguing. What is the other story they're trying to tell?

At the weekend I watched 'The Miami Showband Massacre' on Netflix.

Was interesting.
 
I looked out of the window, nice and sunny with the usual Guinness that we call radar, fucking nosey Guinness she is, she can smell interest from fuck all at least 500 yards!!
