So yes the pipes are corroded so do I attempt to tidy up or replace? It’s probably cheap crap metal and worth nothing but it’s not easy getting replacement for a 28 year old bike . , there is a tyga full system on eBay but opening bid is £650 gulp and the bike might well be getting moved on anyway but god I like it ..it doesn’t look 28

Couldn't you just take it to a ceramic place to get them clean it up then ceramic coat it? it in a matt silver? @Exige might know someone who does near you?

Not sure, to be honest I’m reluctant to spend too much on it now as I have quite a bit in it and would like it back but the pipes let it down a lot

If it was me i would clean them, wire brush and Autosol, if they don't come up after that i would spray it with some black exhaust spray (y).

Attempt to tidy it up with some wire wool, elbow grease & wipe over with some ACF50 once done.

If not happy, bite the bullet & get the Tyga system !!

They look like the tyga system so should be stainless steel and clean up with good old harpic
It’s not tyga not sure what it is it had carbo in a sticker when I first got the bike but I imagine in Japan there is millions of aftermarket parts for these that we have not heard of

You know what this system is very similar to the tyga one very similar
I gave harpic a quick go and I think I’ll be ok using harpic, wire wool or Brillo and autosol and it will do I reckon
