I nearly bought one of those when i had money :rolleyes:, the one i was looking at had the fuel tank and single battery tray conversion.
That one is silly money.🤪

Ok it’s an official Duc dealer selling it but even so.

I’m not convinced with the rarity angle. At that time when you ordered a bike you could specify whether you wanted a mono or BiP subframe/seat. If you ordered a BiP, as I did on my ‘99 748, you could still order the mono subframe and seat unit separately, if memory serves me correctly it was a little under £500 at the time. So, why does it become a ‘rare’, ‘investment’, opportunity just because it was originally spec’d that way by the original buyer 🤔 ?

This one is not a fixed price of £2650 but starting price for the auction. No bids as yet and as its is only about 30 minutes drive from home for me I`ve messaged the owner about a potential viewing . I need another bike about as much as we need Boris back as leader but its low mileage, not a crazy price(yet) and close to home so it seems silly not to have a look.

There is also a very nice Thai restaurant in Hitchin so if I take Sally along with me and the bike is no good it won`t be a total waste.

Best to book if its in the evening as it gets very busy, we were there last week and they were turning people away. I had a beef brisket massaman curry with sticky rice, absolutely delicious.
The pub next door is pretty good too if you want to pop in before or after for a little drink.
