Trying to keep my phone Google free.
What are the best alternative in-car/bike navigation apps? I like Bing maps because it's based on OS maps which are much more informative than Google.
Anyone else use it or have any other suggestions?
I've looked at Waze but it appears a bit cartoonish and simplistic.
Don't need voice directions as I turn them off anyway and not bothered about live traffic alerts, though not against them as they can be handy. Nearby services like supermarkets, fuels stations etc and reliable speed camera alerts would be preferable.
Or I could just replace my Garmin lick-n-stick plug-in (which I can also use on my bike in a waterproof case) as it seems to be struggling to locate satelites now even though its fully up to date.
What system do you use?
