According to Harry's Garage the 750 is actually a usable classic an didn't deserve its widow-maker reputation. It was, he says, the 500 that was the handful. But not at the prices they fetch. I'd rather have a Suzuki T500.

Same with the tl1000s. All it needed was a confident rider who understood how it worked but sadly, it came out at a time we saw a huge increase of "born agains" coming back to bikes, after years away and their last bikes were small bikes.

The shock could also be changed to be more user friendly, TL 1000 R eas a good option too
