The Ducati Scrambler 1100 has been discontinued on a global scale.
So India, and the rest of the civilised world which is not in the EU, has to accept the imposition of EU emissions regualtions by default.. Who says the European Project isn't imperialist?
Maybe Ducati should start making banned bikes in India where the EU Stazi has no jurisdiction over what they build..?
Then enthusiasts of frilly jackets, Dale Winton interior decor and Barbra Streisand record collections would still be able to buy the 1100 Scramblers and Bumbita Tesis etc that are compatible with their tastes.

Perhaps the answer is for Italexit to happen and a modern day mussolini type character throws all foreign influence out of Italy to return to the glory days of the 1930s

No reason not to put up a tin shed in somewhere like Bangalore to knock out entry-level jalopies like the Scrambler and the Tesi to take on Enfield.
