No, never had the privilege unfortunately!! Seen plenty and know some upgrades you can do to them, Rapides, Comets etc, there is one problem, i don't fucking own one.
Vincent Comets are slowly dropping in price from the usual 15K to 12K and i would happily own one of those.
Not a chance of getting anywhere near the 65K estimate price, more like 20K if that!! The classic motorcycle bubble has burst big style, i look at the price of Vincents to get a ball park price, you can now buy a Vincent series C Rapide for 40K now, there are 5 on Ebay. Three to four years ago they would be 70K+, god i wish i had my compo money now!!
2 years ago was around the time when Vincents started to go down in price but have now fallen off a cliff. Another thing i have noticed is the rise in price of GSXs, as i've said before the old school superbikes are making a come back.

Yep, the younger generation who are getting into bikes probably have never heard of Vincent!! I'm 56 and got into biking when i was six, it was all fields and farms back then and we would ride the bikes in the fields. The first bike i rode was an RM50, it was twist and go and i can still remember how fucking good it was and that was it, hooked!!That's cos all the codgers who had the money and wanted a Vincent are now dead

When these were £3500 the Red 999R's were pushing £20k+, now these are double in price the Red 999R's are looking more like £15k
