1299 Panigale R 🤔

So it's either -
  • A 1299R with a change of clothes and exhaust to make it look like a Panigale R
  • Had engine mods to make it 1299cc
  • The seller doesn't know what they are talking about? (Utalia Moto :oops:)

Oh, and he "Had the wheels painted magnesium colour to give them a lift compared to the boring black ones". 😳 Has he never heard of rim stickers? 😇

It says 1198cc in the description, is that what it should be?
I think the seller is confused, as am I....
That is lovely though, the price more or less puts it in the same ballpark as the 1299FE.
That would be a nice decision to be able to make.

Not sure what he is saying - UK bike from new on log book? It was first registered in 2001, then re registered in 2012 (probably with no history to prove mileage) In any event if it checked out I would suggest it's worth about £8 to £10k max. But we would only find out if he put it on an auction. It's the least collectable of all the 916 shaped bikes 👀

When you use the mot history on its own, it doesn't mention 2012??

So a dealer with 38 bikes for sale wants full price as he can't get it running, Mmmmmm :unsure:
 
I see Joe's 999nero :Ds is at £7,300 with 22 hours to go. I must admit, as a bike, the black glossy 999's do look rather lovely
