A lot of people here in ROI, myself included (and I know @The skitz did as well) would buy bikes from the UK as there was much better choice available. Not any more though. Importing from the UK to ROI adds 35% to the purchase price unless the vendor can sell to you on an ex vat basis which only applies to new
