I think I've listed this before but not sure? 749 in Clonakilty, Co. Cork, Ireland

Seems strange that one, don’t know why, just something not right in my gut over it.

Why put his phone no. In the ad unless he intends to sell it outside of eBay? Plus he hasn’t put the full international dialling code 🤔.

Then, the architecture of the house in the background and the stone used looks more French than Irish🤫.

Check out his other listing of a speed boat, that's one hell of a Gaff

Its here for sale in 2015 and seller was in sheffield

The way he's spaced his phone number, is that a cork one, I ask as if you squeeze the numbers you get 0871 120729. 0871 numbers in the uk are charged at a higher rate as the person gets 7pence of the 10 pence a minute? ???

If you click on his ebay profile it shows his location as usa

087 followed by 7 digits is an Irish mobile number.

Don’t ask me how I know.

As far as I know it’s 26% on top...a 125 cc is 28%
I thought vehicle import duty is 10%, perhaps it isn’t in the UK, it is here in the EU and I thought the UK had the same rate but stand to be corrected.

A lot of people here in ROI, myself included (and I know @The skitz did as well) would buy bikes from the UK as there was much better choice available. Not any more though. Importing from the UK to ROI adds 35% to the purchase price unless the vendor can sell to you on an ex vat basis which only applies to new 🙁.

Does this apply to private sales?

Everyday is a school day for me Paul, but yes the days of buying a bike abroad are gone unless it’s a bargain and rare.

My Honda in Spain is a conundrum as I got the 4K offer but it might go for more in Uk but I have to pay to bring it back which is nuts, anyway I’m in Spain next week apparently so will be sorted one way or another

Is that 35% uk to ireland specific or on all bike imports from countries outside the eu?

Cheap 1098R. (y)

Expect it’s already sold..... they fly out the door at that sort of money....✊
That's why I'm holding on to mine until I need the money....
Good investment.... safe as houses... so long as you use water in them.
