Remember this D16RR which was auctioned at Bonhams yesterday?

It fetched £49,950 inc buyers premium.

Just FYI.

The ex Troy Bayliss Works bike, lot 487, didn’t sell

I had a really cheeky bid in on the D16RR fairings. Estimate was £400-£800 iirc and I remotely bid £900, never expecting to win. I forgot about them, but got an e-mail after the sale, they went for £1,300. Bargain I suppose. (y)

Been keeping a good check mate, my main pensions are ok atm, the bitsa ones are shite, my main shares are steady, just need to hold fast til next feb, pull em and pay off the mortgage, retire but just keep me hand in, the share that have diarrhoea were shares purched via a dividend scheme, so disappointing but not that grim!
What's a "mortgage "?

It doesn't say what number it is but does say, Ducati Desmosedici, 8,108 miles, comes with both exhausts, bike cover, gp paddock stand etc £55,000

No reserve 2014 Ducati Panigale 1199R ?

Picture 2 of 5

The 1199R was basically a tarted up 1199S but with Ti Con Rods and lighter flywheel - not to be confused with the Panigale R from 2015 onwards which had a full fat Superlegerra engine.

Could go cheap with 15K miles and a desmo service needed but he's being realistic with his low starting price and no reserve

I think I've got one of 'em lying about somewhere. 🤔

Ducati 998S for £20k 😮

It looks very clean, but not original... so the £20K is a bit high.... its sort of a Bitsa..... do we know a Ducati lover who buys this sort of Bitsa Ducati (then calls it a prototype)?

Very Clean??? Have you seen the rust on the frame ffs!!! It's ideal for your cooking fat model collection to go straight into your damp lean-to that you call a coach house, you know, the one just behind your faux tin street lamps: where it can continue rusting happily. Oh, and stop with the insane jealousy will ya 🤷‍♂️ all I see is this when you post... but at least your having fun for a change I guess :)(y)

I saw this today, DUCATI 2002 748RS MOTOR, NEW, UNUSED & UNFITTED, £15,000

Picture 1 of 9

As far as I am aware that's a 748R road bike engine number - thought the RS race engines came with no number or 8 numerals and 1 letter but not 100% sure
