This Film turned out to be great, the book is very close to it and is a real depiction of blowing your brains out!!

A good film…a lot of rumours about Hunter Thompson in life being a pedo…don’t know how true they were though
 
When i saw this scene Blockbusters was was still about and i rented is on the weekend for my son as he pointed it to see!! I'm a dad and miss those time so much. Anyway i have fallen out with him big style after nearly 30 years, i can't help wearing my heart on my sleeve!! It does not make me better than anybody else but sometimes we bottle things up and that is a boiler ready to blow and i have lost many a job in the past. You can only hit your head against the wall so much.
When i saw this seen with my son we where in hysterics and i was struggling for breath and crying for laughter!! It reminded me of the crazing things that my now friends, it always makes me happy thinking about my gone friends!!:)

@Dox i have had a lot of first hand associations with Hells Angels and to be honest they are a good bunch of blokes!! I would get invited to the Clubhouse in the evening and told if i wanted a beer go round the back to the fridge. Massive American double door beast, crack a beer open and then get handed a chunk of dope to skin up with!! Happy daze that will never come back, after getting wankered Vines Dairies where on the way home in the early hours and if you asked they would give you a pint of milk :love: .I miss those time so much but progress:rolleyes:what a load of shit!!
 

These two are what i grew up with, i know a lot of Nouthern Irish and Republic of Ireland mates!! I always had to translate, it worked out the same way!! My good friend who could never go back to Ireland and another great friend can never go back did struggle with English!! We had some great times and those are in my head!! :love:
