Pet's Corner

you don't see dogs with boots on over here very often but an American friend who used to go out in the desert with his dogs had proper boots for rough terrain. In the UK its just mud!
I have a variety of boots including boots for deserts. For extreme cold, they allow them to be outside long enough to do their business and protect their paws when the snow has an icy crust. Last week Tina(green jacket) cut a pad when she went full blast after a squirrel. She is also prone to ice balls forming between her pads and boots prevent that.

Oskar is doing great, a year ago it was touch and go after his stroke, he can't walk as far as we used to, it takes a while but he has made a full recovery otherwise, we had a scare in the summer with a possible growth in his shoulder but i think it was from a slip and torn muscle or something like that but he's over that now too... he's 15 in a few months - we love him to bits.

I am sitting here - because i can...
