Cancer Research UK (CRUK) chief executive Michelle Mitchell was paid £288,200 in total remuneration for the 2024/25 period. CRUK, a large organization, justifies high salaries for senior leadership and world-leading scientists to manage complex operations. Meanwhile, general research executive roles at the charity average around £26,175 per year.

And a chunk of the income comes from shops staffed by volunteers.
I can’t see any data on their website defining how they’re beating cancer 🤔
