Today for those in Australia, New Zealand and Tonga, Remembering Anzac Day

25th Of April

Went to the local service this morning.. im glad it wasn't at dawn as I was a Lil hung over and it was pissing down at that hour!
Good turn out for our lil village, maybe 100-150 people.. our deputy pm was there, coz he is from these parts. He didnt speak but my neighbor, Mark, said a few words.. he's the fella at the lectern in the pic.
Anyhu it was a nice service and im glad I went. Shame we dont have an RSA as we could have had a beer after . No pubs can open till 1pm on anzac day but the RSA can open earlier.

Crazy, 2 people passed out .. one was a girl of about 15 . She was standing a few rows in front of us and just dropped, banged her head quite badly on the concrete..
She got carried to the side and was ok but quiet upset, while she was being seen to a lady of about 40 dropped and hit her head as well... it didnt halt proceedings but was a bit of a worry. I said to b, if another one drops, im on my toes! Maybe it was something in the kool aid....
