I can recommend *everything*.
Literally, watch anything at all, as long as it is not "King", a Canadian cop series with a girl-boss who struggles to balance her work and private lives.
JFC. I got through the short first season through a vague sense of fascination - the lead actress was sort of hot but the character she played was, supremely, annoying. I kind of enjoyed the sensation of following a show with no sympathetic characters or in fact, anyone I liked at all. It was like having an itch you cannot scratch, you hate it but you kind of like it too.
Two-thirds through Season Two, I had to bail. Suspension of disbelief evaporated entirely as contrived coincidences and unrealistic plot tensions, plus a staggering lack of believability in the characters' motivations and their choices, reached stupid-fucker pitch. Binned.
No wonder Canada is in an even shittier state than the UK. If those characters are what Canadian people are like or how they'd like to be, they're already in Hell.
