I'm on Season Three of For All Mankind now.
S3 is starting to go down the jump-the-shark/wokery/mainstream/usual tropes route.
Unstable astronaut who is somehow allowed on the mission & who is responsible for a disaster? Check
Moralising over the intolerant attitudes of a bygone era? Check
Anti-Conspiracy theorist side-swipes? Check (and ... wow, just wow, could you be more obvious?)
Standard suspense & drama themes? Check
I just need two more tired old clichés to rear their ugly, ugly heads and I won't be able to finish watching it. As it is, the interest outweighs the cringe factor so I'm still on-board.

We watched the last John Wick and were disappointed. Yup, just a slaughter fest. It got to be laughable though when people would jump up for another go at it when they were just beaten to a pulp. I think Keanu Reeves rode his own brand of motorcycles in the movie. That got our attention.
On Netflix we watched the 4 part series Live to 100: Secrets of the Blue Zones. Interesting documentary about specific places in the world where more people live significantly longer than average lives and the 12 habits they all share.
We were surprised to learn that a project was started in a city 3 hours south of us in Minnesota where they have been applying those 12 habits. They are finding that people there are living longer.

Hard to get revved up for this the way England have been playing. Hoping Borthwick has just been experimenting...but feel that he's out of his depth.

I'm quite busy trying to untangle the subtext regarding the struggle between the religious believers on one side and the atheists on the other. Modern woke theory suggests you are supposed to side with the latter but ... damn. Just, damn. It's not easy to like them!
