What can you recommend watching?

Number 24. A true story about Norwegian war hero Gunnar Sonsteby in WW2. It's dubbed English but worth a look, a slow moving film. Apart from reliving some events, some he held back and is reminisent of so many in ww2 that rarely sought to tell the true horrors

If it's the same the Following with James Purefoy that I tried to watch a few years ago ... it was a sort of love/hate thing. I'd say in a ratio of 0:100.
It was one of the first instances I can recall where lazy script-writing and "ridiculous plot at the cost of everything else" came to my full attention and it made me realise that TV programming was beginning a terminal decline both in quality and ideas.

Watched the movie Rush last night. It's from 2013 so guessing many of you have seen it already. It was good. We like movies based on true stories.
We finished Schitts Creek and haven't been able to continue with Severance. Our dog has become terrified of the elevator sounds in the shows. She starts shaking and sits tightly next to us, looking at us imploringly to save her so we gave up on it for now.
We started watching 1923. I like it but we'll be watching it sparingly. A little too violent for daily watching.
Speaking of westerns. My favorite western movie is The Quick and the Dead. Might have to watch it yet again in memory of Gene Hackman.

Apocalypse Now the final cut on Film4 that started a 21.00, i went to see it at the cinema, it has the all important French settlers scenes!! To much to explian but if interested look it up on the goings on in Vietnam before the war and the French and ex SS soldiers.

There was a trilogy planned but as usual red tape and all that crap get involved!! In a way i think it works out better with a stand alone movie!!
