I have just done a tour of Ireland on my new Multi 1100 and believe me rode on every type of road surface available and covered all speeds possible. All with luggage on the back and the Multi IMHO came out very well indeed. Probably the only concern was the seat that felt a bit on the hard side at times, (so may go for a gel one) but after about 1000 miles riding it may be something to be expected.
All through the trip I felt I had one over the other lads who were on Jap 4s as I had the comfort of the upright sitting position, but if I really needed too, the sportiness and agility to keep up.
Not a great bike expert but the general consensus of opinion I have heard from other Multi owners is the new Multi is far better than the old one. So worth having a test ride.
