I bought my Landrover from Nottingham from a dealer on the eastern edge of the city near the racecourse. When I went to look at it I didn't plan my route, just relied on the satnav. It took me down the M1 and right through the centre of the city. The place looked like a third world country and the driving was atrocious. Every other car seemed to have a smashed light, a stoved wing or a full length scrape down the side. Drivers were aggressive, impatient and discourteous. Traffic lights and road markings might as well not have been there. It was a free-for-all. I assumed many of those drivers had never legitimately passed a UK driving test...

Luckily the dealer showed me a better route to get home that missed out the city centre and took me via Lowdham and the A6097 onto the A1.
If I thought I'd have to drive through the centre again I honestly don't think I'd have bought the car.

I gave them back as they had a zip that went all the way from front to back and no pockets so i couldn't tell the which way round they were.
