Big Trailie / Road Bike market ?

Once it's been out a while they will be doing all sorts of deals and sweeteners to stimulate sales here.
It looks ok and will no doubt ride really well but that market is a tough one to crack and i imagine they have set themselves some pretty high targets.
I still maintain Ducati should stick with their core business and strengths, could get fingers burned in this current climate.

Presumably that'll dribble electricity as well as the oil Ohlin's suspension frequently ejects ?

What a stunning looking bike, if it goes as well as it looks I could be persuaded away from the Monster.
IMHO not much point comparing it to the GS as that model is being killed off this year mind you with BMWs quirky design dept who knows what their new model will look like, I hope the MStrada doesn't from all the issues that plagued the first 1200gs models mine was a heap of junk had 5 front engine cases due to crap paint, heated grips failed along with the main computer and the l/h switch gear.
 
There's obviously no accounting for taste. I think it's maybe even uglier than it's predecessor, the black version doing a creditable impersonation of a crow -Captain Beaky!
It looks like I'll be keeping the ST4s for a very long time, as I doubt if Ducati are ever again going to produce a proper Sports Tourer. :mad:
 
It certainly isn't conventionally pretty but I rather like it. I'm also coming around to the viewpoint it could be the perfect motorbike for me having had a brief ride on a 1200GS recently.
Mind you I think the old Multi looks nicer & I still own a Paso so draw your own conclusions.

just got up, insomnia. if i cant sleep i get up and do stuff. really @@@@es next door off when i put the washing machine on and started vaccing in the middle of the night :dunno:
