Tempting Bikes For Me

At 200 Kg, it looks a bit heavy. When I am next in Fowlers, or Frasers, I will ask to have a sit on one.

You did, last year...

Nothing at all. I've bought a TomTom 550. The only thing is an objection to deliberate misleading bullshit, as the KTM ShiteDuke, that I have now, ,claims to be able to use Bluetooth. And that is just a lie. It is being lied to that I have a problem with!

For instance, with all of the farting about to try and get Bluetooth working to my bike, the effect has been that my car radio, which used to play music from my phone and call out the maps direction, no longer works, as I found out today going to the Bath Landown P & R. I got home and sitting outside in the car, it was all quickly sorted out. No manuals needed to be studied, no money paid out for the privilege. KTM have other ideas. They see your pain and want to compound it by making you pay for that pain. That is wot I have a problem with.

216 kg and has a low seat option.

ORRRRRRRRR

You can save thousands, see when Nelly has a spare slot and get your ST fixed

Just been out on the KTM and did about 53 miles. To where? I have no clue. The original idea was to go to Castle Combe but I forgot the route there and ended on another old favourite that I used to use to go to Swindon on, but I cocked that up and ended on what I thought was the A4, but it could not of been as the A4 is south on the M4 and I was north of it. So who knows? Nor cares?

Anyway, the good thing is that these rides allow me to do some thinking.

Conclusions?

One, I thought that the bike was heavy on fuel, but I think that I never really put in much just buying 5 litre cans and tipping that in. Filling it a Tesco, eith the pay at pump, puts much more in. I've discovered how to use the trip so I can really start to tell what I am doing. I've still got two bars left after today and that trip to Wales (Tintern) the other day. I would guess about 100 miles done with still two out of six bars left. I've got a feeling that the trip thing tells me the fuel consumption, so I will check it, when I put it away.

And the bike is a keeper. There is nothing that I don't like, and that shitty, crappy route finder garbage that is irrelevant as I've got the TomTom to fit and that navigates anywhere in the World, so the KTM crap is just an irrelevance. The staff at Fowlers warned me that it was shit, and they were not wrong!

So, that is it. DONE! FINISHED! COMPLETED and I am certainly, definitely not going to have to weaken and buy a Honda!

On the beer now!

The dash just gives me "miles to go" and says 102. So, it seems that at running in pace, I should get 200 miles out of a true tankful!

As mentioned two weeks ago, KTM list the tank capacity empty to full as 13.4 litres approx or in proper money 2.9 gallons approx

Makes sense (not that it was already mentioned, coz I ignore stuff!) so puttin in 5 litres at a time was less than half full. Anyway, now that I know that I can use Tesco to my South, and should be able to use ASDA to my north, I will not bother with buying it in a container, any more.
