Is everyone aware that the current price for a unit of electricity is £0.65p/kWh and daily standing charges are 50p a day.
That is 5 times higher than 30 months ago and twice the standing charge.
On the usage domestic customers are getting about 50% relief/support from central government... at the moment.
The daily rate isn't supported nor is it controlled by OFGEN, instead "market forces keep this competitive"
Ummm.... when you cannot move suppliers there is no competition.
