So was it the jab that fucked up your senses?

It could have been the jab, but I've had the jab in previous years with no side effects.

"Long COVID: Loss of smell or taste

After having coronavirus (COVID-19), you may still have a loss of, or change in, sense of smell or taste. It can take time for your sense of smell or taste to recover. You may find that foods smell or taste differently after having coronavirus. Food may taste bland, salty, sweet or metallic. These changes don’t usually last long, but they can affect your appetite and how much you eat. For a very small number of people, your change of sense of smell or taste may be more long-term."

My nephew died suddenly last week aged 39.

He was a Telecom Engineer mostly working outside, and felt chest pains which he told a colleague was "like no other pain I've ever felt".

He was assisted to the local GP Surgery and was told to go to the Blackburn Hospital, but there was at least a 2 hour wait for an Ambulance - no Doctor was available to see him at the Surgery.

His colleague took him to A & E, and he was told it could take 4 hours to be seen.

He phoned his father (my Brother-in-Law) who went to the Hospital, and at his request, took him to his home (he lives alone).

He wasn't answering his phone the next morning, so his father went round and found him dead on the floor.

He has now had an Autopsy/Scan, and his parents told that he had heart disease and suffered a fatal heart attack.

He smoked since he was 16, didn't exercise and ate junk food, but wasn't overweight and didn't touch alcohol or drugs.

His funeral is in two weeks.
So sorry to hear Ron, our condolances, absolutely tragic.

I know nobody in my cohort who had these lasting problems we all carried on after the flu as we would any flu... I didn't even know I was a granny killer 👀...

Because it's a multinational company, they also make it in various countries too. Ours is made in Westbury in Wiltshire.

The issue is an additive being given to cows to stop/reduce methane expulsion (farts). So whilst it may say on the packet Milk and Salt, it's what's been put in the cow that makes the milk that is the concern.

I don't know if they moved back to NZ ? https://www.themanufacturer.com/art...hire-arla-to-produce-anchor-butter-in-the-uk/

Well Feck Me, I didn't know that, I knew we ( I work for Fonterra ) made powders and some other niche products overseas with others milk, but didn't know that about your Anchor Butter, incidentally NZ Butter is so yellow from the carotene in the fresh grass.

Just about everything was attributed to convid…including ‘no symptoms at all’ 😁 I kid you not.

I’d say ‘you couldn’t make it up’, but someone did.

Kerrygold butter is my favourite

I prefer Country Life but as foreign muck goes, Kerrygold isn't too bad.
🤣🤣🤣 you boyos have been taken in hook, line & sinker. Kerrygold ain’t even made in Kerry. It’s a made up name invented by the Irish Dairy Board (a Govt sales & marketing dept) for overseas markets, particularly the German market. It costs €1 more per 1lb than the same butter made from the same milk in the same factory coz you’re paying for the marketing of the brand name. But it is Irish, it is pure, Bill Gates isn’t involved, and, like all Irish butter it’s naturally yellow because, as @NZDave says, the cows are only fed grass all year round, so you’re making a good choice 👍

I’m sorry for you too Ron, I can’t think of anything worse than Dr Pepper being the only thing you can taste 🤮🤣

Actually, @wroughtironron , if you’re beginning to taste you must be getting your sense of smell back. Taste is 95% down to smell. Our tongues can only sense, sweet, sharp, bitter, salt & umami. Everything else in what we refer to as taste comes from the ‘fragrances’ of food hitting the olfactory region of the upper throat where the nasal passage joins the throat as we chew. You’re well on the way to full faculties being restored - although bear in mind, our taste & smell senses get naturally less/worse (just like hearing) as we age. The sharpest sense of taste & smell is amongst 10-14 year olds.

Oookay…so it’s Irish and grass fed…what’s to be taken about?

It’s £2.60 a block here - about the same as other branded butters and a fair bit less than some (especially French ones)

We use Kerry gold in our house if nothing else it's consistent everywhere so even in the Canary Islands in lidl you will still get it... No spreadable plastic crap allowed past the front door only real butter 👀

I won't be viewing this article on FB

Is there another source or could you paraphrase please.

Yep it’s Irish and grass fed, I was just winding you and @Loz up. If you’re only paying £2.60 (€3.12) for 454g (1lb) we’re getting ripped off here in Ireland where it’s about €4.60 (£3.83) 😮. Still, that’s not unusual we get overcharged for pretty much everything here compared to our EU counterparts 😕
