What can you recommend watching?

Cross - Netflix I think, a very very good psychological thriller

Bad Sisters - Apple TV, absolutely excellent.

Missing You - Harlan Cohen’s latest, very watchable.

All the above are binge worthy.

I'm watching Smile on film 4, if your into horror movies this is for you, not my cup of tea but ok so far!!

Just watched the boy in the striped pajamas on netflix, brilliant film, shown through the eyes of an 8 year old boy, very moving, innocent but sometimes gruesome, it really struck chord with me, 35 years ago (where the hell did that time go) I visited the first 'work camp' at Dachau near Munich, anyone who's been to one of those places will tell you the same thing, it gets inside your very soul, it's a hellish place to be and yet it should be mandatory for people to visit, a real eye opener.

Did you find yourself shouting at the screen telling him not to go there?

I'm watching in Channel 5, The surgeons, a matter of life or death. Very very graphic. one of the operations is cancer of the face. Absolutely fantastic how much science has progressed in some areas.

I friend of mine was diagnosed with cancer of the jaw... they removed his jaw and made a new one out of his fibula... apparently we don't use it much.

I've been watching "Occupied", a Norwegian near-future political thriller. The premise is that Norway goes all anti-oil and ceases production, angering the EU & also the Russians (for some unexplained reason).
I find the non-Anglosphere POV interesting but it is weird cheering for the Russians in this scenario (pre-Ukraine in the story) when they are obviously being cast as the bad guys. Nice to see the Americans being shown as the snakes we know them to be in respect of foreign policy.

I keep hoping the Russians will lose patience and just nuke everyone but no luck so far.

Thanks. I've seen the monologue (it's wonderful) but I didn't want to watch hours of cvntistry just for one bright, shining moment of sanity.
Nah the cuuntistry is mentioned and played out with the purdy young female litigator and Mr oilman, how ever this minor to the main storyline of trying to keep up production of the elixir of society that has 140 years of infrastructure built around it, trying to explain the there is another 200 years worth still buried but its increasingly harder and more expensive to get out. Then the statement that there is nothing else even close to being suitable.
That's the only part I disagree, I believe fusion will be with us within 30 years and the possibility of ZP energy within 50. infinite free energy, yummy!
