They will have more people to pick a team from if that helps.Come on Mexico!
This will be their year.
It's an impressive mountainFree Solo.
On now BBC 2. Documentary on American free solo climber (no ropes, just bare fingers and a little bag of chalk) Alex Honold as he scales the frightening 3200 ft sheer rock face of El Capitan in Yosemite.
Stunning photography, especially when watched in HD. Also heart stopping.
Brilliantly filmed. You don't get the true scale of the thing until you see the final ascent. How he did it at all, never mind in three and a half hours defies comprehension. It's an impressive mountain
Sorry to hear this, I am at thw same place with my mother not recognizing me. Hard to deal with her asking me who I am and not believeing I am her only son.Not sure, but my mom maybe showing some signs. I called her Wednesday, we spoke for about an hour. She called me the next day totally forgot the discussion we had the day before. May this not be my fate.

Edit: a slow burn for three quarters of the film as they delve his personality, motivation and background, and show endless roped practice climbs. But the real thing when it finally happens is gravity-defying and palm sweating beyond belief. You have to wonder how long this strange guy will live.
I’ve got the book, unbelievable. I have trouble climbing the stairs!Free Solo.

Back in the day, with my trusty amiga 500+ and a 14400 baud modem, used to access the BBS systems which later with a PC, via ISDN and DSL, frequented usenet.Watched this last night for the second time on Netflix. It shows all the things you might not have known
Rod Steiger is brilliant.I saw it recently on Prime.
The 2nd season of Severance is confusing after the wait. I may have to rewatch season 1.We binge watched Landman with Billy Bob Thornton on Prime. Can't wait for the next season to start. It's actually based on a guys podcast "Boomtown" when he was working in the oil fields in West Texas. It's one of those shows where you want to jump up and blurt out "that's right!" or "damn straight!" or "take that!" We're more reserved so, we sit and with raised eyebrows nod our heads in agreement with whatever was said or done to our satisfaction.
Then we resumed watching Severance as per @RA5 's suggestion. It did get much better.
For a break we are binge watching Schitt$ Creek. It's fun and much less intense. It's an older show so we have many seasons to watch.
Agreed, that’s what we did. Backtracked three episodes. The 2nd season of Severance is confusing after the wait. I may have to rewatch season 1.
