I've researched on Ancestry.co.uk since 2010 ( my Great Grandmother left some comprehensive family tree work too) I find it fascinating to see the occupations of relatives on the census forms which date back to 1841. Beyond which you are mostly reliant on church records - births, deaths, marriages and christening, which go back to Cromwell (he insisted on churches keeping their records in secure coffers). If you get lucky and find links to the Peerage then you can go back to Charlemagne. I did, thus Hugo Magnus.

Whatever happened to those things? Someone should bring them back, they could be useful.

TIL that 40 countries citizens can travel without a Visa to the USA for up to 90 days where the UK citizens with their special relationship cannot 🤷‍♂️

That's because of the number and type of people who have been allowed into the UK and been given one of our passports and false equivalence with the Celt and the Anglo Saxon. It's not us. It's the devils we've let in who roam the world in our name.

I thought he was Oirish. 🤔 They're all right, and suffering from the same social and cultural vandalism that's been visited upon us.
We have pre clearance arrangements in Ireland and we are the only country in Europe with it AFAIK.... huge amount of nationalities travel through Shannon to get cleared for entry to the states so they don't find out over there they are being denied entry... I can't see what country's don't need a visa but I thought most did .... 🤔

It says most of the EU population don’t including Germany and France 🤷‍♂️
