Spent nearly 7 hours at Drayton Manor for approximately 14 mins worth of ride time. The rest was standing in queues and having a half hour lunch at the chicken shack having a tasty chicken burger. Sat in the bar at the hotel and fucked. Thank god the cider is nice and cool.
A few days of "shakedown" of the RSV4 to work (just a couple of miles) mainly adjusting the suspension. After weeks and weeks of messing around with my mates RSVR1000 it looks like its now working correctly - i had a go on it last night and ironically where we stopped (outside the copshop) so i could have a crack on his bike to see if it was running ok i got to hit the rev limiter through the box so hopefully thats the end of his issues (we were under the cosh as its the TT for us tomorrow)
I think it depends who you find....my mates first marriage we all said at the time might not be the greatest move as the night he met her he pulled her out of a fight, then he went round her house for a first date, some car pulled up, someone got out and launched a beer keg through the front window. Me, as ive got older i do need to be with her more and more, through our life together shes consistantly made the right decisions which ive gone with and turned out to be right, i definately wouldnt be where i am in life without her. 40 odd years ago before i met her i thought the best id be able to get to would be a bedsit and a decent fast bike...my expectations werent that high...Fuck marriage!! After 12 relationships (with many drunken flings) and 1 marriage it's always ended in tears, fifty seven Friday and happy to be a single man!! The time i have left on planet earth will be spent single with a bike to ride and a beer in the evening, i'm happy!! I gave up smoking nearly 3 years ago and it is one of the best thing's i've done and feel better for it. Spent the day oiling my deck ... 25 years married tomorrow so hoping for some fun on the newly oiled deck but all I got was a roasted sunburnt headyes they are mine before you start
