I no longer have a twelve bore, I had a nice one, found it in my Uncles after he’d passed, it was a Berreta over and under(?) but decided for various reasons to take it to the police station. It would be more fun to take them out with a twelve bore.
Last time anyone did that we ended up with a Forum member in New ZealandHave a party for midgets and give the one who collects the most balloons, all of the balloons![]()
Steve, they've been in captivity long enough, let them float away free.I’ve said it before and I’ll probably say it again, I bloody LOVE custard. Just tret our Gert to Jam roll and custard. Going out for chips, eggs and beans at the Cow Shed tomorrow.
On a separate note, do we think I ought to take down my birthday balloons?

They’ve been up six weeks, I was waiting ‘til they started falling or deflating, but neither of those things have come about.

Carrier pigeons from the wall, although we may require african Swallows for the weightThis seems extremely unlikely.
Is there even a postal service in Aberdeen? I find that hard to believe.

Sorry fella, I don't do politics.
Barry and I have questions!I`ve been toying with selling my 1200 Multi S for a month or two and have come to the conclusion now is the time to do it. It needs a good clean but for now here`s the basic info and a few pics :-
The good
Its a 2011 S model with 33k miles, I`m the 3rd owner and I bought it in January 2024, it has FSH including a desmo service last year and belts 2 years ago. Mot`d late April so 9 months left. I`m the 3rd owner and it came to me with a very delicious sounding full Arrow exhaust system already fitted. The only upgrades I`ve made are to fit spacers to move the screen back a little which reduces buffeting, I bought a second smaller screen for the summer and I bought a Sargent saddle which is at least a million times more comfortable than the original. It runs and rides very well, everything works, it`s a brilliant bike and being the S it has electronic suspension and lots of carbon. .
The bad
It`s 15 years old with 33k miles so cosmetically obviously a few signs of wear & tear. The worst of these is a hairline crack in the offside panel as shown if you zoom in on the first picture. In the flesh you have to look to see it as it`s not apparent with just a quick glance. The back tyre has no more than 2000 miles left in it.
The fugly.
A picture paints a thousand words.
All things considered £3750 feels about right . I`ll leave it on here for a couple of weeks then if no interest I`ll pop it on Autotrader or Ebay.
More pictures once I`ve given it a good clean. The bike is in Bedfordshire if anyone wants to come and have a look and the registration number is HX11KVS if you want to check anything online.
Ah Loz, I`ve been expecting you. No I wont take £500 and deliver it.Barry and I have questions!
If only that's all they did the world would be a better and less crowded place.Do Africans swallow? This may explain a few things.....
No idea why I did that. I'll take a look at this thread's title to see whether there are any clues...Ah Loz, I`ve been expecting you. No I wont take £500 and deliver it.
Why did you post it on this thread not the bikes for sale one?
I had already checked and there are literally no clues in the thread title, none at all, not even 1!No idea why I did that. I'll take a look at this thread's title to see whether there are any clues...
Turns out - Barry made me do it!

What if you have a smart-freezer and smart oven but you pay a monthly subscription to the manufacturer in order to make them work? Here is my 2c. I did the bearings in my multi 1100 and then recently in my S4r. If the bearings are worn, it seemed to loosen on the
LH side nut. I never had an issue with the RH side as it is only tightening on the hub of the wheel. Clip installed and zip tie for luck.
So my advice is do the bearings in the hub. Is actually easy to do assuming you own a freezer and an oven
What if you have a smart-freezer and smart oven but you pay a monthly subscription to the manufacturer in order to make them work?
Strictly speaking, you "own" the appliances but lease the functionality. I'd argue in effect that you only rent your freezer & oven.
How does this affect changing the bearings?
Thanks in advance!
The word association thread....Where did that come from?
Well the bearings would have to want to change. What if you have a smart-freezer and smart oven but you pay a monthly subscription to the manufacturer in order to make them work?
