Don’t want to spoil a potentially serious thread, thread

I'm not looking for too much specific information on this for obvious reasons but more of a consumer guide/user experience.

If you have, had one,

(1) why did you decide you needed one
(2) what research did you do on them
(3) what made you chose the one you did
(4) where there any insurance benefits
(5) was it a self install or professional install, any issues with that
(6) how easy did you find them to use
(7) did you have any faults/issues with it and lastly
(8) looking back after having one, how would you sum them up
Not read the thread in question ... but my favourite tracker is Lord Baltimore.

He never works outside of Wyoming though ...

who cares we are all doomed anyway....

Doesn't global warning mean we spend less using air polluters like gas central heating and coal fires ?

Unfortunately for me Al my experience of all these lying scumbags came from Being a private landlord I had over 60 properties and I saw how they lived and just how comfortable their lives were.. all being paid for by local authorities. Yes I made a lot out of it but believe me these people really are laughing at the working person and they have no shame knowing that others work hard for them
To benefit. To top it all off they are not grateful they just want more and more and they abuse the pcp as if they don’t pay it there is nothing for bailiffs to take as they don’t own bugger all.
My solicitor used to have to tell the finance companies that the persons owing did not own the property that they lived in (because it was mine) and that any charges against the property had to be dropped.
Can’t take the pants off a bare arse my dad would have said.. these people are genuinely considered higher up the food chain
Than workers.
sad but true in my experience Al.

Out of interest, who pays you the rent for these properties ?

(Also not having a go at you, genuine question).

About 35 were rented through a housing association called cottsway which was an intermediate of the council. They were the wrong uns some were through green square and the rest were private. I only have 3 left now as everything had to go cos the stress of it was too much and the dawn of all the new god awful housing estates was the death toll for private landlords like me as the housing associations moved all their “clients” aka scumbags in to brand new houses as the builder covered everything for ten years so the housing associate saves money and doesn’t have to put up with whinging scumbags. probably got a nice back hander somewhere along the line. But hey ho I’m glad to be out of it as the liability insurance alone was getting daft.

Am I right then to think that effectively half of your properties rents were payed by the taxpayer ?
