When I used to drop off/pick up wife(staff nurse) from hospital I would see people stood outside the cancer unit in there pj's smoking.
If you are dying then why not enjoy whatever vice floats your boat (providing you're not causing harm or loss to others)?
A lot aren't dying so smoking while you are being treated for cancer or any serious illness is absolutely fucking retarded, me personally would have the smoking shelter 42kms from the hospital so nobody in the hospital has to smell the disgusting smoke .

I saw an advert the other day where it says that 1 in every 2 people will get cancer in their lifetime, in 1980 it was 1 in 3. You have to ask, what has happened to the trillions of pounds that have been put into the global cancer research community?
Nothing sells like fear ... when my kids were younger they would repeat stats like 1in 2 people ... making sure they get into everyone's head to shake the money tree
