It's treated timber so probably not great for the chickens! They have been laying for months. Do you people not actually read the post you respond to? Weirdos... perhaps the treated sawdust will give the eggs a bit of " zing" and make me live longer....
And yea, its alot of work for a Lil fella..

Well, there was grass shoots coming up but the chickens had a better idea ..

That's actually normal ... I'm 36 years in construction and 25 years married.. my wife is a nurse but knows far more about building houses than me apparently... this didn't bother me one bit during the 5 years I built and renovated 4 houses to end up in the one I built now ... not one bit chiz 👀😆

Now that's how you do sarcasm 👀

Try burial and if you find a week later that you've changed your mind, well, just dig her out again. Easily fixed.

It's not that she knows more than me per say, its more that she knows im fucken busy , tired and over it but wants to give me shit about not hanging a towel up or putting a spent toilet roll in the bin..
Even when I hang the towel up its not done correctly apparently...
It's like she is totally unaware the the nail gun can kill her....

I reckon you slipped up! My OH did a lot of the building work including drawing up the plans, drylining, pointing, painting and much more.

Quick tip. When you bury a body, put it 6 foot under. Then when you're backfilling at 2 foot from ground, bury any dead chickens. So if plod see's new dug ground whilst looking for a person, you can say I buried some dead chooks there. they dig down, find the chooks, believe you and then don't dig there anymore. Job's a good un.(y)

Ooh fuck, you made me bite my tongue!

So the main floor is done, just the bathroom and lean to lean to go ( when I find 10k) ..
Put up a few sheets of ply to represent the bathroom wall and mocked up the kitchen. Layout roughly so b can. See how things work..
It's a pretty good living space for a small house i think..
We have s ope to increase the kitchen size a small bit but obviously at the cost of the dinning area.. when we eventually get the lean to done I will do a proper mock up and go from there.
Pretty happy with the over all size though and its bigger than b expected ( not the first time ive heard that btw)
Anyhu, some pics of the set up..
