Today I got a 10 year reminder to renew my retention cert on a private plate, went online to update it and it didn't recognise my account name. I last used the DVLA site a few years ago now.
Re registered, put all the details in off the cert to add it to my account and it didn't recognise the cert number
Phoned up to see why and the geezers said he can't check and there is no department contactable by phone to discuss it, but I can send it in by post. So all ready to post in the morning (photocopied in case they lose it)
