Two things:
1. As Fowlups are giving me shit about doing some sort of part-refund om the shit "comfort" seat that I bought with the KTM, whilst the first service is already booked in with them, that is the end of the food-chain.
Part of my "rethinking" is to stop avoiding motorways in order to search out twisties. If I go to Fowlers in Bristol, then motorways are difficult to avoid and the distance is about 24 miles. The direct route to AMS. in Tewkesbury. is 30 miles, so no big difference. And both are equally accessible by train for me.

So I drove and used the Park & Ride. Costs
I doubt that I will ever bother with the train again. They have modified the timetable so to avoid providing a direct train to compound the misery!
