TIL that

Camelot distribute 95% of the National Lottery revenue back to players and society (in the form of prizes, returns to Good Causes, Lottery Duty and Retailer Commission), one of the highest percentages of lottery revenue back to society in the world.

Whereas, The People's Postcode Lottery distributes 33% - the legal way to extract easy money from the poor 😮

How to have fun with a cold caller from “daily habits”
I wouldn’t let her get a word in then told her my habit today was locating bad accidents and that I got on the tv news once, I was in the background waving my arms loads and eating a massive bowl of mash potatoes, and has she ever done that?
The potato gets cold really quick and the news people tried to move me on so l threw a dead magpie I carry around with me at them but it missed and hit a young girl instead
Then the little girl started screaming and shit as there was maggots in the magpie and they were stuck to her face with the magpie guts.
Then she started snotting and there was maggot and gut and snot all over her lip and in her hair.
The mash potato got cold.

Weirdly, the phone went dead?

At my local surgery, the receptionist is still surrounded by glass panels from COVID era. Apparently, they have been kept because of attacks by patients.

After my last interaction and being sent to Cheltenham A & E for a waste of time attempt to get a kidney scan, plus having to wait an hour at the chemist because nobody could be assed to close my record so that the prescription could be released.

I am back there on Wednesday, where I will have to tell what to prescribe and how to close the record.

And write "Cheltenham Hospital is SHIT" on the record, as nobody else in our linked up NHS can see it.

Another Public Service Announcement from Mr Twisted

Tell her she needs to be very careful because them new covids learned to climb over the screens 😆😆😆😆

It will be a new experience for me, so that has to be good - and if they threaten to stop seeing me, then I will agree, readily.

Seeing a whole new side to the NHS and in fact an insurance based system that other countries have is better by far. All this clapping the NHS was shit. Other countries cooped as well.

If I paid for such a shit service, then I would have to good case for asking for my money back. I can't with this rubbish.

I am going to look into the complaints procedure.

Q: Do you have complaint letters on templates or do you start fresh each time?

Back in the 30s there was a German, Max Keith, who had the distribution rights to Coca-Cola throughout Germany. He owned the bottling and carbonation factory and all the means, people and network to sell the soft drink but he relied on the importation of the concentrated syrup from America.

Prior to them even joining WW2, a trade embargo was put in place against Germany, meaning he could no longer obtain the syrup.

At a loss as to what to do with all his infrastructure he hit upon the idea of collecting all the fruit that was on the turn from the wholesale markets. Oranges, lemons, grapefruit and such. He proceeded to press and process said fruit into a syrup which he used in place of the Coca-Cola one.

On drinking the new concoction he exclaimed 'Fantastiche' - which became the name of his new drink, later to be shortened to Fanta and many years later was bought out by the Coca-Cola company.

May I suggest this being written in actual shit for added impact
Good idea.

I have been investigating changing GP practice, as the crowd I am with now, although just around the corner are crap. I bear grudges. I know, I know, a failing of mine, but this is my health. There is a workshop just a bit further on, who do my car servicing and MoTs. If they screwed me about, then I would go elsewhere in an instant, so why should it be any different for GPs?

Be patient! I'll get there - sometime - eventually - one day - hell freezing over - sometime

I went to ASDA at Quedgely, as they have pay-at-pump and then to Frampton-upon-Severn for food.

Frampton Comes Alive!

Never had American Pancakes before. And as we say in Gloucestershire, THEY ARE GERT LUSH! Definitely a find.

Doctor appointment this afternoon and challenge is to not be openly rude. Cirencester A & E is a bit further than Cheltenham A && E so that is where they will try and send me. I wouldn't bother go, but I want pain-killer prescription. That will piss them off, so not confident that they will come good. And don't bother go round to pharmacy, as if they know that you are waiting, it 100% guarantees that they hold the prescription.
