What can you recommend watching?

We have been watching The Morning Show on Apple TV. It's okay. I'm a little tired of the storylines revolving around racism and sexism. Just when I think I'm done with it they end an episode with a cliffhanger. Then we have to watch the next one.

The new season of The Reluctant Traveler started on Apple TV. Eugene Levy is now travelling in Europe. Funny and educational.

What I love about British films is they are clever, witty and understated compared to the American yeha shit we are constantly subjected to..
Unfortunately this movie falls well short of what I like about British movies.
It is an exercise in making a Wanabe British gangster movie with absolutely no substance at all...
If you like hearing mockney swearing and think that, that, makes for a good movie, then it will ne right up your street.

Agreed I saw it when it first came out. It's crap.
 
The Diplomat Netflix.

An excellent compemorary drama charting diplomatic and political intrigue with humour and some LOL moments.

I think Rotten Tomatoes underscored it at 83%.

Just finished it 2nd time around . Brilliant.

I watched uptil halfway through and thought it was little more than a spiced up eastenders with the ending almost layer cake (a nobody really in the film) doing the deed. I can't see me watching it twice

Yea... can't see it being nominated for best actor, best screen play, best director, or any other category at any award ceremony.. apart from maybe the the mofos or what ever the black movie awards are.
Coz there is a few black people in it..

I've seen some of the reviews and the film seems to be all about Napoleon and Joséphine and not the historic victories and failures including his complete fuck up on the Russian campaign!! Saying that history is written by the victors, shit, anothers rabbit hole i've gone down!! :unsure:
 
Just started on Channel 4 +1, Whites only, Ade's extreme adventure. He spends a week in the white only Afrikaans town of Oriana
