I didn’t see the point in it all, I only went ‘cos my brother didn't want his recently passed sons’ seat to be empty.

Will you be swapping it to carbs soonI've been in the garage doing some tinkering on the Harley, the seat was loose so took it off and there are some tangs that hold the bracket on. Got the seat off and the tangs are down so took the bracket off and bent tangs up with a screwdriver. Bracket back in and now it's solid.
I also need to sort the number plate out, it has a small plate in black and silver that is not legal on a 2013 bike. I have been caught for a small number plate on my 900ie and it cost me over 200 quid, Guinnesss!! They are hot on it out West Meon so i will fit the new one tomorrow, it needs to be cut down slightly for fitting, no big deal with my trusty angle grinder and thin cutting disc!!
And no i will not need a hammer!!

I want to move away from Ducati for a bit and wait to see when the Asda payout get's sorted. It's coming on for 15 years ffs and for some reason i'm drawn to a 1098 Streetfighter. The Harley has a 12 month MOT and they paid me some cash!! I wasn't going to let that go for silly money, i bought it from a shop that is part of the Crescent group that was Crescent Suzuki in Motogp!!
I want to black out the white walls, not my cup of tea and there are some other bits i want to sort, it's fucking loud as fuck and they gave an advisory for loud pipes.

The other thing is all the Ducati spares that i changed for carbon fibre on the 996 are going on ebay and more than likely on here!!

The guy who had it first spent a fucking fortune on it, it has a stage 1 upgrade by Two Brothers racing and apparently runs realy well for power, the last time i rode the 996 was from Prescot hill climb event and found myself riding like a fucking crazy man and i don't want that anymore, the other reason i sold the 996 was i just don't want to treat it like a fucking three year old child with constant attention. Anyway this is how it is and long live the king the king is dead!!
