What have you done on your bike today?

Rode the mental patient to work today (SXV) - seems to be some sort of operation going on...the filth seem to be hunting in packs (2 bikes and a car) - went out for a walk yesterday and saw some just eat scooter dude getting pinched....as i approached the copper hopped on his bike lights on and opened it up, then followed by another one with the throttle open then followed by a car...got to the top of Park St (Bristol) and they had another one in the back of the car....saw a post on FB this morning with the same bunch down on Hotwell's and someone commenting that they were knicking people for anything and if you had any outstanding fines...you pay on the spot or they take whatever your driving...oh yeah they had an unmarked which looked like it was doing the spotting...

Back to the dealer this afternoon to return the loaner and reclaim my Baby GS.

I am glad to get the little fella back. Had a spirited ride home once I got away from the heavily regulated stretches. At one point I followed a Merc C300 that was being driven in a spirited manner - that was fun. Raw power saw him pull away out of corners and the road surface is so bad in places that I couldn't always commit on the bends but he never got far in front of me, not for long. The sportier rear tyre is inspiring (no more squirming, despite there still being an off-road front tyre in place) and the chicken strips are almost gone, front and back LOL. Great fun for the little budget adventure bike :D

Went to the dealer to drop off the G310 for an MOT & service. Came back on a slightly younger bike of the same model. This gives me the opportunity to compare side-by-side my noisy exhaust/17t front sprocket against the standard exhaust/16t sprocket.
It feels like extra work to get to a lower cruising speed on the standard bike so I am still content with my set-up.

What I am not content with is yet more fucking 40mph limits along the route compared to last year, more average speed camera areas plus a couple more 20mph bits. This is fucking ridiculous and I must seriously consider now how much longer I intend to display a registration plate :mad:

You don’t need one of those if you leave your helmet at home and invest in the purchase of a balaclava, as I understand you are then also automatically exempt of road tax and insurance, seems like an excellent deal? 🤷🏻‍♂️👀

Today i was in the garage to see what size the drive pully is, after much fucking about i got the casing off and typing this i've remembered a bolt i didn't tighten up!! It's not an importent bolt but will do that tomorrow, the drive sprocket is 30 teeth and not the 28 i was expecting and trying to get a 32 isn't an option as i have tried and it seems they don't do one for my bike!!🤷‍♂️ I am going to phone a Harley place in Leeds Monday for advice, i've either got a fucking mental fast Harley or the clutch is slipping some how :unsure: I'm going to get the primary case off and i will check the clutch plates and see if it's been replaced with a decent clutch pack and the grenade plate has been removed. I can't find any paper work for it so i will check anyway for peace of mind and hope it hasn't got the grenade plate in the pack!!:oops:
