Used to manage an exchange organization years ago (outlook server) - how much mail have you got? also go into your user profile, appdata, local microsoft, Outlook and youll have an ost file (from memory) thats your mail...sometimes outlook generates new ones so you end up with a bunch of old ones in there as well clogging everything up....before you start doing stuff export your mail to a backup first (as ive know idea how your mail client is currently set up)!!!!Outlook is getting on my tits. You sign in, it shows you your emails and within a second they all dissapear, same with sent emails. They must be somewhere as when I refresh they all come back for a second.
back to the first statement outlook has a finite amount of email it can deal with (my old hr department used to have so much) outlook couldnt see half of it and the only way was to connect directly to the server (webmail) so thats also an issue along with too many subfolders....outlook doesnt like that either...
