Real flame, but it burns bio ethanol ( not the gel type but pure liquid ) kicks out a fair bit of heat, no flue needed. Is it real or very convincing imitation?
Because.... no hearth stone on a wooden floor, and where does the flue go?![]()

So, do HEL make oil lines then? There’s an HEL partner/reseller/manufacturer in NI who I’ve bought various brake lines from over the years (I’m forever having to replace multistrada front brake caliper link pipesSummer job on the Hyper will be going down to Hel to get some custom oil lines made up..
As an option, depending upon exactly you are looking for there is a seller on Ebay, Torques who are in South Wales, Swansea I think, who sell a vast array of hoses & quality alloy fittings that you can buy, cut to exactly whatever length you want & then fit the end fittings to connect up your oil lines/oil cooler/filter.Banging day in the office/garage fitting rectifiers to bikes.... total schoolboy error on the sxv (Squashed the fuel pipe) - fitted the Rec/Reg put it all back together....no start...thought it was the new unit - took it all apart, lifted the tank....fired up instantly....put the tank back down....cut out....lifted the tank, refitted the new Rec - jobs a good'un....all back together....
Made some improvements along the way.... on the rsv, spaced the new unit off the inner side of the fairing, swapped out the rusty old bolts with some Ti bolts i had knocking about...

Hmm....thanks very much - thats worth a shot..... ill contact them.As an option, depending upon exactly you are looking for there is a seller on Ebay, Torques who are in South Wales, Swansea I think, who sell a vast array of hoses & quality alloy fittings that you can buy, cut to exactly whatever length you want & then fit the end fittings to connect up your oil lines/oil cooler/filter.
They have various adaptors to get from metric threads to standard JIC AN-* fittings. The anodised fittings are either blue & red, all red, all blue & black. There are also stainless steel fittings.
Ideally you do need a certain amount of tools though, mainly good quality cutters, to cut the various hose types square & neatly & imperial spanners to tighten the fittings onto the hose ends. For oil lines on motorcycles the hose/fitting 6AN size, (around 3/8" or 9mm), should be large enough for most "normal" applications & spanner sizes 1/2", 9/16" & 11/16" would fit most of the fittings for this size hose. You can buy specific alloy spanners for these fittings, but I feel they are a bit soft whenever I tried using them so I tend to stick to using normal spanners with a bit of masking tape around the hexagonal faces.
Yeah - they do....as i say apparently they do a custom service when if you pre arrange it you can ride in, get a set made up and away you go....cant remember where i saw it [and i have yet to contact them myself though]! but i will be soon....have to get the TT out of the way first though....So, do HEL make oil lines then? . It would be useful to know if HEL HQ say it can be done.
