Went to Matlock Bath today with my Son, him on his Panigale V2 & me on my Daytona 955I, a bit of father/son bonding. Great to get out with him, in the sun 
Sadly I never took any photos !
Considering it's a bank holiday Matlock seemed fairly quiet, guessing tomorrow might be a bit different though.
Cops had their mobile revenue generator out in a lay-by between Buxton & Bakewell !!

I would guess Buxton would be the better bet for choice of walks/things to do ?!! Never really been "sight-seeing" in either of them other than to people watch at Matlock & look at the bikes on a sunny day !! There's also Bakewell, not far from Matlock, which always seems to be popular with "walking" type people !!

Not many scenic walks in Matlock itself. I’ve walked all around it and it’s not great.
My choices would be Hope or Hathersage for better walking.
We have spent the last week on holiday in Cala Galdana, Menorca - a lovely picturesque place.
Yesterday, on the bridge over the inlet seen below, a bloke and a woman were pinning a "Free Palestine" banner.
It had disappeared by the time we returned to the hotel an hour or so later
